In February I posted about patching one part of the main paddock.

Here's a quick update.

Clear line between mining spoil dumpline and unmined pasture

After mulching, rain, seed and waiting, it looks like this! The brown patches in the middle are where I layered the grass mulch a bit too thick. I'll kick them around a bit and spread it.

It's not by any means the best pasture, but next summer there will be a grass cover over this area and it won't dry out and go bare.
